First Giving Information

Some questions have come up concerning Firstgiving.org First Giving is the premier tool for nonprofits to use concerning fund raising efforts. Any individual or Chapter can set up their own First Giving web page to collect donations on behalf of the Honor Run and the 1st Marine Division Association.

THE MONEY COLLECTED GOES DIRECTLY TO THE 1ST MARINE DIVISION ASSOCIATION. IT DOES NOT PASS THROUGH THE INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE SPONSORING THE WEB PAGE. IT IS 100% SECURE AND VERY EASY TO USE.

If you would like to set up a page, and we encourage you to do so, please contact theunit@cox.net

The Honor Challenge is Coming

In the next week we will be announcing a National Challenge for MC Chapters and Organizations to compete with each other in a fun and challenging way to raise funds in support of the Honor Run.

The winning chapter in the Challenge will receive National recognition for their effort, get the VIP treatment at all Honor Run Functions, have their colors flown on the National Chase Vehicle that will cross the country, receive a trophy of thanks from the Honor Run, receive three plaques one for the club, one to be placed at the Harley Davidson Museum, and one to be placed in the newly constructed Fisher House to show the families of our wounded heroes how much you care.

But it gets better!!!! If our club comes in first, and raises a minimum of 10,000 through a web page we will set up for you, FOUR MEMBERS OF OUR CHAPTER WILL GET AN ALL EXPENSE PAID TRIP TO THE HARLEY DAVIDSON MUSEUM INCLUDING HOTELS AND A FUEL STIPEND.

So stay tuned and get ready to kick it up for all those who have given it up for our freedom.
